We’re hiring a Help Center Content Lead

ProjectionLab is growing, and we’re looking for a part-time Help Center Content Manager to own our help content. If you’re product-minded, love writing, and love helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role

As our new Help Center Content Lead, you will plan, write, and maintain documentation in ProjectionLab’s Help Center. Your content will be customer-facing, used in the Help Center, and also power self-serve and AI-assisted support.

You’ll help define ProjectionLab’s Help Center voice and tone, and work closely across the team to keep content accurate and up to date as we ship new features. You’ll use support tickets and Discord conversations to spot gaps, set priorities, and continuously improve how customers learn the product.

This is a contract, part-time role, with flexibility on hours and the potential to grow over time.

What You’ll Achieve

• Apply a consistent voice and quality bar to all help content
• Write, publish, and maintain clear documentation that helps customers succeed without contacting support
• Build comprehensive coverage across the core product experience and common questions, closing key gaps over time
• Partner with Product to keep content current with new releases and product changes
• Identify top contact drivers and turn them into high-impact help content
• Improve discovery and self-serve outcomes by structuring content for search and AI-assisted support

Skills You’ll Need To Bring

• 3+ years writing customer-facing documentation, product education, or technical content
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to distill complex topics into clear, actionable writing
• A product-minded approach. You can anticipate what customers will need and build toward it
• Comfort working independently and setting priorities without direction
• Experience maintaining documentation over time, not just writing one-off articles
• Familiarity with Help Center tools like Intercom, Help Scout, Zendesk, or similar
• Comfort using AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate work, without relying on them naively

Nice To Haves

• Deep existing knowledge of ProjectionLab as a product
• Background or interest in fintech, personal finance, or retirement planning
• Interest in creating video content and walkthroughs, using tools like Loom or YouTube
• Experience in a small, fast-moving SaaS environment
